Maryruth Neige Maichin will be publishing an Artist's Memoir showcasing her artwork, which depicts her experiences with chronic migraines and concussions. This piece chronicles an artwork series painted over two years of her rehabilitation. The memoir intentionally portrays the emotions, experiences, and obstacles of an artist living and looking through a migraine-tainted lens. She candidly displays the struggles of rehabilitation and relapse with migraine attacks. This book is somewhat of an expose that addresses the healthcare systems' mishandling and misdiagnosing of concussions and their underestimation of their impact on the sufferer.  This medical journey will enlighten and encourage others. And what better way to interpret chaotic vision than through the powerful exploration of art?
